ABNT: Seminars on Norms and Certification

The Brazilian Association for Technical Norms, ABNT, has already developed a Certification program for plastic seating in sports stadiums in compliance with the rules of FIFA and the Organizing Committee of the 2014 World Cup. At Expo Estádio, the Association will promote a seminar to address the applicable certifications and norms for the main product categories in stadiums and sports facilities.


Highlight of Expo Urbano

Lighting is an essential issue for roads, airports, stadiums, parking lots and urban spaces. Today in Brazil, the share of lighting in construction ranges between 2.5% and 4.5 %. In developed countries, such as Germany, this share ranges between 4.5% and 8 %.

The Lighting Pavilion at Expo Urbano will focus on lighting for highways, airports, stadiums, parking facilities and urban areas. The fair will highlight state of the art equipment that encompasses safety, durability and sustainability (energy savings, size reduction and increased efficiency), with innovative design. The conference will be organized in collaboration with the international LUCI network and Lumicom association.

 

Parallel events ensure more municipal and state visitors

Two other events will occur at the same time as Expo EStádio: TranspoQuip Latin América, the main event for infrastructure for transportation that unites suppliers and buyers of equipment and services for highways, railways, stations, ports, waterways and airports in Latin America, and Expo Parking 2012, the first event in Brazil geared exclusively towards the parking sector. Exhibitors, suppliers and operators will enjoy this excellent opportunity to meet the decision-makers on parking issues in municipalities, stadiums, apartments, malls, airports and other public areas.
